Food & Drink Awards 2011

July 2011

Dr Ghaleb Karein, principal dentist at Cheltenham Dental Spa & Implant Clinic recently presented the Best New Chef Award to Damian Clipsby at the Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards 2011. Cheltenham Dental Spa & Implant Clinic were pleased to be sponsors of this prestigious event and believe that anything that promotes excellence within a profession is always positive and should be recognised and celebrated but never more so than in today's climate.

It was clear that all the finalists were passionate about their food, sourcing local produce wherever possible and serving inspirational dishes making the final decision for the judges extremely difficult. However, all of the finalists should feel justifiably proud to have been placed in the final of this category as voted for by the people of the Cotswolds – an accolade in itself to their excellence. The event was held at The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse and over 350 people attended.
